About VShare

Based on Chennai, India, on April 4, 2005, a group of less than six people joined together to help needy. The group used to make frequent visits on the weekends to a orphanage and old age home to educate the children and for the moral support of aged people. They then observed that the inmates needed more than what were given. On April 14, 2005, the kids in that orphanage home were given new dresses by this group. Broadening their mind to help other people, they started identifying the orphange homes that need more aid for their inmates. They found a few and began teaching, providing food and clothes to the kids and took care of the infrastructure problems of the homes.

October 18, 2005 was when they named their group as "VShare" (literally "We Share"). VShare continued its regular activities like visiting homes, educating students and providing food. As time passed by, they reasoned to help poor people who were in desperate need of money and support for their medical operations. VShare has been collecting money from its members for medical requests and helping lots of patients to live a healthier life.

One of VShare's milestones was it's registered with Government of Tamilnadu, India on July 14, 2006. In order to maintain the financial structure of VShare, it opened an account with ICICI Bank Limited on October 1, 2006.

After the crew of VShare arrived here at United States, they registered VShare with the Government of North Carolina, United States on November 11, 2007.
