Beginning from our first day, we've been working towards the welfare of kids by concentrating on their education, food and health. As our first step, we moved eight kids in Solomon Society from Corporation school to Seventh Advent Matriculation school, Kodambakkam. Four kids from Nethaji Mercy Home, Velacherry and two from Perambur were then moved to Nesar Matriculation school. We have also admitted five ill family kids in Velachery to Nesar Matriculation School.

We are also helping the students in orphanage homes, poor families to pursue their higher education. With the help of VShare, Mahalaskhmi is studying B.Sc Nutrition in Erode, Uma Maheshwari is doing Nursing in CSI School of Nursing, Chennai. One year tuition fees for Hariharan and Sudhakar are paid. Three girls of Padhai home are continuing their Physiotheraphy, B.Com and Secretariat with VShare's assistance.

VShare is taking care of school expenses of Kokila, a first standard student. The notebooks, school, college books and materials like school uniforms, bags, shoes and slippers are also distributed to all children at homes. In addition, tuition teachers are arranged for the kids in Paadhai Home, Home and Hope for homeless and Solomon Society Home.

Starting from October 18, 2005, we have been providing breakfast to all the kids and old age people in Solomon Society on all Sundays. During some special occasions, we serve food to almost all the homes that we visit. Festivals like Deepavali, Christmas, Pongal will be celebrated with the kids in the homes besides distributing dresses. VShare seldom do 'Kids' Day out' during holidays.

Our next main goal is to support financially and morally for medical operations. We offered Rs.35000 for a heart surgery of Fathima, an eight year old girl, in Erode. Gisha, who suffered from brain fever, was helped by VShare with Rs. 15000 for treatment. VShare helped Sakthivel during his heart surgery by giving Rs.110000. For Rajeshwari's and Yashwant Paul's heart sugeries, VShare gave Rs. 80000.

We've also been arranging blood for critical medical operations through several means. We also supported Kavitha, Harisudhan, Siddarth and Pandian during their surgeries. Apart from helping for surgeries, we often conduct general medical camps and Dental camps to all the kids and old age people in the homes and get them the medicines.
